Blog entry 3) End of Days
I really liked this book and the questions of the week. But i did not like my group because during the "todays meet". we really didn't even talk about the book all we really did was just talk and not do any of the work. also the teacher didn't really talk to us or try to keep us on track. The book was still good and so were the questions except some of the questions were to long.
The book was easy to read and it had very good vocabulary as to my grade level of reading. I didn't really get a good response from my peers about the book because mostly on our discussions they would talk down about it saying it was to slow, witch in my opinion it was to. Even though in the discussions i didn't really talk much i tryd to put my in put of how i felt of the book.
I also really like the preview questions because it really made you think of what would you really do if that kind of thing happened. It kinda brings in a reality check because really what would you do if i giant meteor was coming straight for the earth and that it was going to destroy all living things on planet earth. The other questions were really good to because they asked you what would you do, dig a shelter or go and do something fun for the last little bit. And it wasn't all about us, it was also like what would we have done in the characters shoes.
This book brought a lot more questions to my mind about what i would do and how i would do it. It was a really good book over all and i really liked the understanding of how other people would do if the same thing was happening to them. Over all i have to say this would be my second favorite book iv read.
